IF YOUR VAGINA COULD TALK WHAT WOULD IT SAY?

For the first time since 2019, Chico State’s Gender & Sexuality Equity Coalition will be putting on performances of V-Day’s The Vagina Monologues! Performances will be Friday, Feb. 10, 2023 at 7pm, and Saturday Feb. 11, 2023 at 2pm and 7pm at Rowland Taylor Recital Hall (Performing Arts Center 134). Presale tickets will be $10 for students and $13 for general admission. Tickets sold at the door will be $15 for all.

We encourage attendees to purchase tickets in advance at the University Box Office at the corner of Chestnut and Third Street near the University Police Department. Proceeds from The Vagina Monologues 2023 production will be divided among the Gender & Sexuality Equity Coalition, Catalyst Domestic Violence Services, and Women’s Health Specialists.

The Vagina Monologues, a groundbreaking play by the playwright and activist V, is based on dozens of real interviews with people who have vaginas. It is a part of V-Day campaigns to create new narratives surrounding vaginas and end violence and sexist stigma against vagina-owners around the globe. The Vagina Monologues serves to empower vagina-owners of all genders, ages, and walks of life, and all identities are welcomed to watch. The play discusses mature and potentially triggering themes
