Join us for a special reception on the Equal Rights Amendment and book launch of “Empowered Women of Shasta County” on Saturday, September 21st, 2024, from 3:00 pm- 5:00 pm at the Visitor Center in the City of Shasta Lake.
Sponsored by Women’s Health Specialists and hosted by Mayor, Janice Powell, who will be signing a historic, national petition to codify the Equal Rights Amendment.
A champagne toast to the success of our own powerful women will be offered in the Boomtown Museum where copies of the book will be available.
Refreshments will be served.
