Women’s Marches on January 21st
Executive Director Shauna Heckert will be speaking at the Women’s March in Sacramento on the West Steps of the state Capitol, this Saturday, at the rally around 2pm.
WHS will also be tabling at the march and sharing our resources and mission with the community.
Women’s Health Specialists and Adoption Choices of Northern California will also be at the Women’s March in Chico.
These marches are sister marches to the March in Washington D.C., and are a peaceful protest of the harmful policies of the incoming presidential administration–particularly those that aim to disrupt reproductive health access and derail women’s bodily autonomy.

I am so proud of all of you for keeping the Women's Self-Help Movement alive. Your website is amazing and I only wish you had a Women's Health Specialist clinic in the SF Bay area. Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it to one of your anniversary events or the march in D.C., but I will be marching here in SF on the 21st. Please send my warmest regards and deepest appreciation to all of the WHS staff and volunteers for the incredible work you continue to do. BTW, I still have the original manuscript of New View of a Woman's Body and the first editions published of New View and How to Stay out of the Gynecologist's office! I recommend both to many of female patients.
I would love to come and see you some time in the near future and will be listening for your speech on Saturday.
