A: The average time in our program is 12 months.

Q: How long does the birthmom have to change her mind?
A: In the state of California, approximately 30 days. If she chooses to sign a waiver it will be less.

Q: How old are most birthmothers?
A: The average age is 23 years old.

Q: How often does the birthmother change her mind about adoption and decide to parent?
A: In our experience, less than 5% of the time.

Q: How much contact do most birthparents want?
A: Over 90% of our birthmoms want to have some degree of contact.

Q: How much does it cost to adopt?
A: Fees vary upon the program you go to, including factors such as international adoption vs. domestic. The cost of our program is based on a sliding scale.

Q: When should I hire at attorney?
A: You do not need to hire an attorney until you have a birthmother with whom you are working.
