One of the goals of Women's Health Specialists is to provide women with information so that they can make authentic decisions about their health care. When women have to navigate the medical system, the more information they gain, the more armor they have to influence a healthy outcome.

 

We hope that our web site can point women in the right direction to obtain more information. Resources such as books, web sites, self-help tools, and women sharing experiences with one another provided a powerful base for many woman-controlled clinics to come into existence. Many of the books and web links provided here developed out of the women's health movement and self-help groups. Also, our Share Your Story blog is a tool for women to engage in sharing experiences and knowledge.
