It's Your Body

On KZFR, 90.1F.M. Public Radio, Women's Health Specialists produces a radio show called It's Your Body, which airs the second and fourth Thursdays of every month from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Tune in to a woman-run radio show, share your experiences and learn about the most updated information on women's health care. The goal of the It's Your Body team is to demystify health care, and share health information with women and men. We believe that, given all the options, we can make the best health care decisions for ourselves. By sharing stories and experiences, we can learn from each other and revive health information passed on by our mothers, grandmothers, traditional healers and friends. We don't promote or advocate any particular health choice.

It's Your Body show topics include women's health care issues, the politics of women's health care and the health care industry, and community, national and international political issues of the day.
