CLRJ began pressure on the billboard owner, CBS Outdoors, to remove the heinous and offensive
ads targeting Latinas in communities of color. Together we also brought this issue to the
attention of mainstream and independent media through print, television and on-line media.
Continuing to work closely with reproductive justice allies like Black Women for
Wellness, ACRJ, and as a part of the Trust Black Women- CA collaborative, CLRJ aims to
expand awareness about these attacks on the decision making and dignity of women because
an attack on one group is an attack on ALL women.
